yn dal i dyfu

fields themselves glisten
filled-over-filled
water
more water
rain-growing glittering
nearly spent Vyrnwy
and Sister Severn is waiting
chwaer Hafren yn aros
yn aros i dyfu
i chwyddo
orlifo
to overflow
in her own slow turn

in North Wales, often causing floods that make mirrors of adjacent fields - the Welsh words here are mirrored by the English text
