Hannah Brydges (assistant editor in chief) is a writer from Stockholm born in 2004. Her work has been featured in various Swedish publications and performed at 20TAL magazine’s annual event AKT UNG! for young new voices in poetry. She considers her poems offerings to Clarice Lispector. Besides writing, she is also fascinated by art history and is very fond of Byzantine mosaics. Find her on Instagram @hannahbrydges.

Roy Duffield (reader) is a nomadic writer and translator, often found in or orbiting Barcelona, Spain. He writes to untie the hypocrisies that support oppression. You can read some online in 3:AM, Diode, Rise Up Review, Ink Sweat & Tears, partially shy, and Feminist Review #135(1), or in his collection, Bacchus Against the Wall (Anxiety, 2023). Zeynep Karabayir (reader) is a translator and writer based in Istanbul, Turkey. Her work has appeared in swim press and explores themes of grief, culture, and identity. When she isn’t grappling with language or literature in some way, she’ll be studying psychology or looking through old bookstores. You can find her on Instagram @timesfont_.

Rosalind Kong (reader) is a Chinese-American poet from Pennsylvania who likes to write about the apocalypse. In her spare time, she enjoys matcha lattes, classical music, and picnicking with friends. Find her on Instagram @rosalindwrites.

Laura Ma (poetry editor) is a Chinese-American writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work has appeared in The Offing, Strange Horizons, Claw & Blossom, and Kissing Dynamite, among other places. In her free time, she enjoys studying linguistics and reading in the afternoon sun. Amy Yen Nguyen (prose editor) is a Bay Area writer and a Comparative Literature student working in English and French. Fueled by a folklore and fairytale obsession, they write speculative fiction and love stories, usually in the form of long-winded novels. Their other interests include listening to too much music, researching the etymology of names, and translating early-20th-century Vietnamese poetry. They also edit for UC Berkeley's Vagabond Multilingual Journal.

Sophia Seo Lee (poetry editor) is a senior from Dallas, Texas. A Pushcart Prize Nominee and national Scholastic Art & Writing medalist, her work is featured or forthcoming in The Expressionist, Eunoia Review, The Sandy River Review, Moonbow Magazine, and more. Her poetry collection, Between Entrance Veins, is published by Bookleaf Publishing. She is also an IWYS, SoNYT, and Sunhouse Mentorship admit as well as a poetry editor at Eucalyptus Lit. In her free time, she likes dabbling in sketch art, spiraling over East Asian history, and plowing through Donna Tartt novels.

Hibah Shabkez (prose editor) is a writer and photographer from Lahore, Pakistan. Studying life, languages, and literature from a comparative perspective across linguistic and cultural boundaries holds a particular fascination for her.

Grace Shelton (reader) is a recent graduate of Susquehanna University, where she studied Creative Writing and Spanish. Her work has appeared in AUIS Literary Journal, Grim & Gilded, and The Lumiere Review, among others, and Treehouse Editions published her first chapbook, Thank You For the Beautiful Life, in the spring of 2022. She gains inspiration from late nights and the song “Luna” by Zoè.

Amy Wang (reader) is a student and writer from San Diego, California. Her work is published or forthcoming in Twin Pies Literary, Gone Lawn, and X-R-A-Y Lit. She is an alumnus of Adroits summer mentorship and has been recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Besides literature, she is passionate about linguistics, and MDZS fix-it fics. Megan Xing (editor in chief) is a Chinese-American writer from New York. Her work has been recognized by the Georgia Writers’ Association and the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and appears in Lumiere Review and Vagabond City Lit. She is an alumna of the Iowa Young Writers’ Workshop and the Kenyon Young Writers’ Workshop, and she is currently a senior at Emory University. In her free time, you can probably find her rewatching The Queen’s Gambit, Fleabag, or Derry Girls.
