Hannah Brydges (reader) is a nineteen-year-old Swedish poet from Stockholm. Her work explores themes of rebirth, femininity, solitude and family; it is forthcoming in The Afterpast Review and the Swedish magazine Ponton. Nathaniel Chew (poetry editor) lives, writes and libraries in Singapore, and has mentored multilingual writers across the world. His collection featherweight (2019) won the Golden Point Award for poetry in English. Recommend him weird books and fruity teas.

Dhwanee Goyal (reader) is a student from Maharashtra, India. Pretty buildings make her heart beat fast, and she likes puns, double-sided blankets, sentences that trail off and … Her Twitter handle is @pparallell, and she can be found on https://dhwanee.carrd.co/. She was born in 2005.

Zeynep Karabayir (reader) is a student and translator based in Istanbul, Turkey. Alongside literature and languages, she studies psychology, and is interested in all the ways being human can be expressed through art. You can find her on Instagram @literaryzeynep.

Laura Ma (poetry editor) is a Chinese-American writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work has appeared in The Offing, Strange Horizons, Claw & Blossom, and Kissing Dynamite, among other places. In her free time, she enjoys studying linguistics and reading in the afternoon sun. Lauren Magnussen (prose editor) is a writer and editor with bachelors and masters degrees in English. She explores small towns and rural nooks, finding little bookstores, searching for fossils, and discovering hidden gardens in unexpected places. Aria Miao (editor in chief) is on a gap year in Northern Virginia. She is an alumnus of the Adroit Journal Summer Mentorship Program, and her work has been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. You can find her wishing for the rainy season.

Grace Shelton (reader) is a recent graduate of Susquehanna University, where she studied Creative Writing and Spanish. Her work has appeared in AUIS Literary Journal, Grim & Gilded, and The Lumiere Review, among others, and Treehouse Editions published her first chapbook, Thank You For the Beautiful Life, in the spring of 2022. She gains inspiration from late nights and the song “Luna” by Zoè.

Amy Wang (reader) is a student and writer from San Diego, California. Her work is published or forthcoming in Twin Pies Literary, Gone Lawn, and X-R-A-Y Lit. She is an alumnus of Adroits summer mentorship and has been recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Besides literature, she is passionate about linguistics, and MDZS fix-it fics. Megan Xing (prose editor) is a Chinese-American writer from New York. Her work has been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and appears in Lumiere Review. She is an alumna of the Iowa Young Writers’ Workshop and the Kenyon Young Writers’ Workshop and she is currently a sophomore at Emory University. In her free time, you can probably find her rewatching The Queen’s Gambit, Fleabag, or Derry Girls.

Hafsa Zulfiqar (poetry editor) hails from Pakistan and graduated from Bennington College where she studied literature and psychology. Her work which has received the WNDB Walter Grant and a Pushcart nomination explores brown identity, dreams, language, liminality, and above all the notion of home; it can be found or is forthcoming in AAWW: The Margins, Pleiades, The Offing, Pidgeonholes, Fractured Literary, Figure 1, Up the Staircase Quarterly, & elsewhere.
